Employee Orientation
Employees*have the opportunity to attend a New Employee Orientation group session within 30 calendar days from their date of hire. Most of the insurance plans offered at NMSU require employees enroll within their first 31 calendar days of regular employment to avoid late enrollment provisions.
New Employee Orientation Group Sessions are designed to be an overview of insurance coverage and benefits available at the university.
You may obtain enrollment materials by contacting your Human Resource Services Liaison in your department/college within 30 calendar days of regular employment. If you have any questions regarding the completion of your enrollment materials Benefit Services will be happy to assist you.
