Re: Hiring Information- Temporary Faculty & Graduate Assistant EPAF is Live
The Electronic Personnel Action Form system, referred to as EPAF, is now live within myNMSU.edu!
We have released the first two EPAFs that were designed for hiring Temporary Faculty and Graduate Assistants. These EPAFs will replace the former spreadsheet hiring process and shall be used for all temp faculty and grad assistant hires for the 2013 summer sessions.
A member of the EPAF Implementation Team will be contacting each college to schedule a meeting time to present an overview of what EPAF does and to discuss who, within the unit, will use EPAF. Training sessions will be scheduled and those identified as users will be contacted to register for a session. It is recommended that users within the same college attend the same session so they may determine how to manage their internal process. Once a college has been fully trained, they are considered to be “live” with EPAF. All training sessions will be conducted before the end of April 2013 as spreadsheet hire submissions will not be allowed beyond April 30th.
Electronic Personnel Security access is required for anyone who will originate or approve an electronic personnel action. In order to transition smoothly into the system it is recommended that all security forms be completed ahead of the training date.
