Employee & Management Services (EMS) offers consultation, facilitation and resolution strategies for workplace issues to promote an efficient, effective, respectful and collaborative work environment. EMS assists in communications between employees and supervisors, corrective action and planning, disciplinary actions, performance management, disability accommodation, and explanation and clarification of University policies and procedures.

What EMS Offers Supervisors and Employees:

  • Provides counsel and advice to supervisors and employees regarding employment-related inquiries
  • Assists in the interpretation of University policies and procedures
  • Provides confidential* consultation (*to the extent allowed by law)
  • Advises employees regarding their employment rights
  • Advises supervisors regarding their management rights
  • Facilitates communication strategies regarding employee/employer issues
