HR Services Training & Development provides training on Administrative and Financial systems, policies & procedures, and coordinates, facilitates, and supports Leadership Development, Career Success, and general HR training.
Administrative and Financial Training
The Administrative and Financial Training program is designed for all administrative and faculty personnel. This program focuses on business and finance systems such as Banner, Cognos, E-Hire and other systems designed specifically for NMSU business functions. The program also addresses policy and procedure related to finance, budget, procurement, and hiring.
Leadership Development
Leadership Development is a program of management essentials for both new and experienced supervisors and managers. The curriculum, delivered through interactive workshops and structured training sessions, is designed to build competencies in new supervisors and strengthen competencies in experienced supervisors and managers.
Career Success
Career Success workshops are designed for all levels of employees interested in resources and strategies that will effectively help them strengthen their competencies and manage their career at NMSU.
General HR Training
General HR training sessions help orient employees on benefit programs offered by NMSU, rights afforded employees under federal and state laws, and Human Resources policies and procedures.
