Purpose of Classification:
Responsible for the overall success of the student athletes both on and off the court/field.
Standard Duties:
Supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate work of assigned staff. Checking classes, monitoring study-hall, tracking appointments with mentor and tutors. Insure student athletes complete community service hours. Reminders regarding practice, appointments with trainer, training table and team related activities. Grade checks and enforcement of book return policy. Represents the program at on-campus meetings. Keep statistics during practice and games. Coordinate daily activities and conducts study hall while on team travel. Perform related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of university and department policies and procedures; principles and practices of organization and administration; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
Skills in short-and long-range planning; problem analysis and resolution; report preparation and presentation; public contact and relations; oral and written communication;
Ability to direct, evaluate, train, and supervise the work of assigned personnel; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct activities; analyze and evaluate information.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree
   Experience- One (1) year of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
