Purpose of Classification:
Creates, manages and administers university-wide faculty development programming and oversees other services provided by the Teaching Academy
Standard Duties:
Essential Responsibilities Creates, organizes and administers events and programs. Provides individual support, resources, and feedback to faculty as requested.. Supports director in administrative duties. Manages fiscal and personnel issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to plan and implement promotional programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
   Equivalency- None
