Has filed a Labor Condition Application (LCA) seeking employment for One H-1b nonimmigrant as an Assistant Professor offering wages of $88,000.00 for service under employment category SOC 19-1021.
The LCA is available for inspection at NMSU HR Department, Hadley Hall, Las Cruces, NM  88003 Complaints alleging misrepresentation of material facts in the labor condition application and/or failure to comply with the terms of the labor condition application may be filled with any office of the Wage and Hour Division of the United States Department of Labor.

Position Assistant Professor Rank, Tenure Track
Summary: The Computer Science Department at New Mexico State University invites applications for a tenure-track position. We are seeking strong candidates with research expertise that can effectively complement the research foci of the department. An earned PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Candidates with focus in data science, software engineering, artificial Intelligence, machine learning, cyber-physical systems, and cyber-security are encouraged to apply. However, exceptional candidates with strong background in other areas of Computer Science will also be considered. Applications from women, members of traditionally under-represented groups, and other individuals interested in contributing to the diversity and excellence of the academic community are strongly encouraged. Salary and start-up package will be competitive.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in areas related to data science with focus, preferably but not exclusively, in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber-physical system and security.
