Purpose of Classification:
Coordinates and integrates the planning and establishment of broad institutional goals and objectives, the development of long-range and strategic plans, the identification of system-wide academic strengths and weaknesses, and business opportunities. Support s decision making and policy development for senior leadership; President and Executive Vice President and Provost. Conducts special studies in areas such as the organization's operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, operating cost containment, academic and nonacademic performance management (key performance indicators, President’s performance fund, Academic and administrative program review and Digital measures), etc.
Standard Duties:
Responsible for institutional strategic planning and performance management processes system-wide including but not limited to; institution, campus, college, departmental and unit strategic plans and performance management review processes; systematic information requirements for strategic planning and academic and nonacademic performance reviews; integration of strategic planning and internal and external review processes with continuous improvement of strategies and actions; collaboration with senior leadership; review of relevant existing policies and procedures providing recommendations; development, evaluation, and corrective measures related to dysfunctional process. Identifies strategic directions and provides leadership for various high-level projects that support strategic, tactical, and thoughtful business decision-making. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of academic and nonacademic higher education administrative and educational best practice, policies, procedures, principles and standards
Leadership, design, development, flexibility, diplomacy, problem-solving, delegation, collaborative team development, higher education marketing, verbal and written communication with a variety of audiences
Inspire change via both direct and indirect reporting relationships, develop and maintain effective working relationships, understand the spectrum of academic and nonacademic domains, independently synthesize a complex variety of requirements and provide adaptive strategies, work within constraints of accountability anxiety, provide support and assistance to the university community. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze, summarize, and effectively present data and performance management information in widely varied academic and nonacademic organizational units. Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Ten (10) years of increasingly progressive management experience in one or more areas that report to this position.
