Purpose of Classification:
Under limited supervision, responsible for the design, development, testing, delivery, and evaluation of training programs of a highly technical or sophisticated nature. Responsible for coordination of organizational training services. May supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate work of assigned staff.
Standard Duties:
Under limited supervision, responsible for assigned training programs and training outcomes. May confer with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training, and conduct training sessions. Maintains records of training activities and effectiveness of training programs. Assists in the coordination of outside training programs by organization employees. May evaluate training programs and conduct return-on-investment studies. May supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate work of assigned staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats. Knowledge of curriculum development and preparation procedures. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Teaching and facilitation skills. Skill in preparing training aids and plans.
Ability to maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, or related field
   Experience- Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
