Purpose of Classification: | |
Serves as Compliance Coordinator within the Athletics Compliance & Eligibility Department. Responsible for assisting Associate Director with all Compliance functions and programs. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collection of information, reports and data from Athletics Department and other units at University, and for accurate and timely preparation of reports. | |
Standard Duties: | |
Responsible for assisting the Associate Director with monitoring of all athletics recruiting activities, financial aid awards; team practice and playing season for compliance with NCAA rules. Assist Associate Director with preparation of educational materials and delivery of educational presentations for all coaches and staff of the athletic department. | |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | |
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of NCAA student-athlete academic eligibility requirements. | |
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Skill in establishing priorities and working under deadlines. | |
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. | |
Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
