Purpose of Classification:
Responsible for assisting in the analysis of datasets through the use of advanced statistical techniques, with the goal of building and maintaining interpretable predictive models and player valuation frameworks to aid in the decision-making of operations. Highlights trends, individual tendencies, set piece play and overall strengths and weaknesses. Compile individual player profile video database to aid in player development.
Standard Duties:
Responsible for videotaping in-studio and remote field television production events, including practices and games; editing and processing opponent and self-scout cut-ups; serving as liaison with coaches on all aspects of videotaping and production by coordinating video and film equipment, operating and managing editing equipment, and training and supervising student workers as video assistants. Transports, sets up, and operates a variety of television equipment; assists with staging, set preparation and dressing; and assists in studio and equipment maintenance. Responsible for the production of opposition analysis reports for upcoming opponent – highlighting trends, individual tendencies, set piece play and overall strengths and weaknesses. Compile individual player profile video database to aid in player development. Production of pre-game, post-game and individual match statistical data and reports. Assist in the scouting & sports science departments when requested to provide insight and expertise from performance analysis perspective. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of in data mining and statistical modeling. Knowledge of data visualization applications, and programmatic data analysis tools
Skill in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- No previous work experience required.
   Equivalency- Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.
