Purpose of Classification:
Oversee the development and implementation of all aspects of football player personnel and personal development in the football program. 
Standard Duties:
Player Personnel:  Assist Head Football Coach in identifying, evaluating, constructing, and managing the 85 scholarships and walk-on roster as well as video and transcripts. With the Head Coach, responsible for supervision, organization, and administration of all facets of the football recruiting process.  This includes Staff recruiting policy book, staff area assignments, collection of transcripts and film, recruiting Assistants, recruiting weekends, Junior Days, game day, and summer camps.  Manage and supervise recruiting office personnel. Organize recruiting schedule, correspondence, phone logs, evaluation sheet/film, and recruiting travel for Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. Organize and execute the National Letter of Intent process and liaison for ARMS.  Personal Development:  Oversee all player development-initiatives for football program including leadership training, career planning and development, financial planning, personal conduct, life skills, accountability, mentorship, etc. Responsible for overseeing all Player Relations issues, requests, and problems along with new student-athlete transition program (communication, updates, orientation etc.), develop and implementation the New Mexico State football player handbook.  Oversee internship and summer job placement with the Compliance Office.  Monitor study hall and class attendance check, monitor media for football related articles focusing on MU football team opponents and potential recruits, and player social media handles to insure positive public image of New Mexico State University.   Oversee community service initiatives with Director of Football Operations, student-athlete education programming (speakers, team building, education workshops).  Responsible of personal development budget with Dir. of Football Operations and the Senior Associate AD/CFO.  Other duties as assigned. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in MS Office, Word, and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to supervise and direct teams in a complex and fast paced environment. 
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree.
   Experience- One (1) year of directly related experience.
