Purpose of Classification:
Responsible for one or several areas relative to the operation of the student union building and related student activities. Reports to the Director of the Student Union.
Standard Duties:
Responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of student employment staff including Building Managers and Information Desk personnel. Act as liaison between the University Student Center and students, faculty, staff, alumni, guests, and other university departments. Responsible for the supervision and oversight of the vending student employee. Daily oversight of the vending contract and monthly review meetings. Administer building systems for HVAC: calendaring and access. Oversee the CCSU Safety Committee and Emergency Action Plans for CCSU and all Auxiliary Food Facilities. Implementation and maintenance of new work order system for CCSU. Provide on-going review of internal departmental procedures in conjunction with other Auxiliary Services Units. Create and maintain necessary documentation of approved internal procedures and provide staff training as needed. Serve as an integral member of the Corbett Center Operations staff.

Direct, evaluate, train, and supervise the work of assigned personnel; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct activities; analyze and evaluate information; supervise student staff; staff training and development; work with a diverse population; utilize computer systems and software programs; willingness to work long hours including: early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed; sense of humor and enthusiasm for working with students.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
