Purpose of Classification: | |
Coordinates the student family housing operations; rents vacant units; inspects apartments; issues work orders for maintenance. Interviews, hires, and trains student resident managers. | |
Standard Duties: | |
Rents apartments; inspects vacant apartments; assesses charges to renters after check-out inspection. Serves as a liaison between residents, housing administrators, maintenance, and outside contractors to provide information, expedite service, and resolve | |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | |
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Knowledge of human resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures. Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures and practices. | |
Lease and/or property management skills. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Expediting skills. Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills. Employee development and performance management skills. | |
Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Ability to lead and train staff and/or students. Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments. Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and schedule | |
Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- High School diploma or GED certificate. | |
Experience- Two (2) years of related experience. | |
Equivalency- Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience. | |
