| Purpose of Classification: | |
| This position is responsible for directing and managing NMSU's marketing and brand development activities. | |
| Standard Duties: | |
| Develops marketing activities which directly impact student recruitment, fund-raising, internal communications, constituency relations and creative development for the University's widespread marketing communication activities; develops and executes long-term marketing strategies; integrates strategies with the University's strategic plan; directs office operations, develops and administers office and program budgets; and hires, assigns, reviews, trains, evaluates, performs corrective actions and supervises assigned personnel. | |
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | |
| Knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, regulations, and standards applicable to the job. Understanding of the University's mission, vision and goals. | |

| Minimum Qualifications: | |
| Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
| Experience- Eight (8) years of increasingly progressive management experience in one or more areas that report to this position. | |
