Purpose of Classification:
The Visual Marketing Specialist oversees all visual marketing projects through from concept development to post-production and delivery.
Standard Duties:
Reports to and works with the Sr. AVP of External Relations on a day-to-day operation of the visual marketing department. Works collaboratively within the External Relations team to ensure visual marketing projects are well-aligned with the strategic needs of the organization. Manages and oversees visual marketing story-boarding, pre-production planning and scheduling, and on-site production activities for visual marketing projects (e.g. – animation, videography, photography). Delivers high quality products on time and within budget. Anticipates and responds to needs and requests from clients (advancement, colleges, donors).  Supervises additional staff during video production. Ensures all projects are on schedule. Identifies best practices for visual marketing production and evolves daily operations as necessary. Oversees all visual marketing assets and ensures all media is archived appropriately and is readily obtained. Embraces and adopts a professional posture of continuous learning in the fast-moving and ever-changing field of visual media. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and experience with shooting and editing videos, knowledge and experience with sound editing, knowledge and experience with still photography. Knowledge of video production equipment. 
Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills. Knowledge of animation is a plus.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs, ability to work independently when needed and also within a team environment, ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years related to duties as outlined .
   Equivalency- Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.
