Purpose of Classification: | |
To coordinate all group sales efforts for all tickets sports (football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball); game-day activities in all sports; and give-away items sponsorships; design game promotions; prepare advertising both for print and for radio; plan, budget, and coordinate future game promotions. Coordinate in-game marketing and promotions for various sports; write, create, and execute season-long marketing campaigns. | |
Standard Duties: | |
Supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate work of assigned staff; Create, implement, and manage promotions; Interact with media relations and staff to coordinate athletic events and sponsorship's; Game-day management and preparation; Provides hands-on experience for marketing students; Work with marketing team to develop strategies to increase attendance and revenues; Perform related duties as required | |

Knowledge of university and department policies and procedures; principles and practices of organization and administration; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation; athletics, game day preparations; marketing and promotions strategies; | |

Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
Experience- No previous work experience required. | |
Equivalency- Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services. | |
