Purpose of Classification: | |
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of information technology and enterprise applications, systems analysis and programming activities that enable a major organization's business processes. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections. Applications Development may include both systems analysis and programming 'from scratch' or configuration of packaged products created by third parties. Manages IT professionals and project managers. | |
Standard Duties: | |
Directs the development and maintenance of a major organization's enterprise application. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections. Applications Development may include both systems analysis and programming 'from scratch' or configuration of packaged products created by third parties. Responsible budgeting and technical projects. Responsible for Desktop, Internal software application and file storage administration and support. Interface with central Information Technology to coordinate infrastructure projects/tasks.Manages IT professionals who design/develop or acquire/adapt application software. Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes: work allocation and scheduling, training, promotion and enforcement of internal procedures and controls, and problem resolution;evaluates performance and makes recommendatiions for personnel actions: motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. Provides overall direction and guidance to assigned project managers and reviews project requests. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties assigned. | |

Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
Experience- Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined. | |
