Purpose of Classification:
Creates/designs and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs. May supervise lower level report writers. May train end-users on report writing.
Standard Duties:
Perform system analysis, and research to meet objectives and devise or modify application reporting to solve complex problems in an optimal manner. Be responsible for versioning development, support, and maintenance as well as configuration and release/test of custom developed and vendor supplied automated reports / scripts and programs in application systems, Web, and database environments. Analyze and implement the functionality and operations of systems to determine standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities per organizational needs. Prepare detailed specifications to include technical and user documentation from which reports, downloads, and extractions will be written. Perform other duties as assigned.Be responsible for providing report design, development, testing, debugging, programming, and modification support and maintenance of reports in multiple databases, environments, and applications for efficient and effective reporting Ensure ongoing modification, maintenance, and support of test/production reporting projects Utilize database tools and applications to provide support and maintenance of reports, databases, and systems for EPIC
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have working knowledge of SQL and be proficient in data manipulation and extraction techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
