Purpose of Classification:
Analyze, develop and monitor procedures and schedules for management of enterprise applications batch processing and security. Manage staff responsible for the day to day tasks and problem solving required to maintain smooth operation.
Standard Duties:
Supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate work of assigned staff. Analyze and develop procedures and schedules related to enterprise applications. Coordinate daily with functional and internal departments. Monitors security and batch scheduling changes and requests to ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Meet with supervisor, project teams and functional staff concerning proposed and ongoing enterprise application project deployments and upgrades. Responsible for implementation of security approval routing and security roles. Responsible for reconciliation of NMSU staff organizational changes in Enterprise Application Software. Responsible for batch scheduling, changes and associated problem resolution. Perform related duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
University and department policies and procedures; principles and practices of organization and administration; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation; university data and enterprise application security concerns: specifically security and routing for SCT banner education components; Procurement Card applications; UC4 application Manager (formerly AppWorx)' FormFusion document management.
Short- and long-term range planning; problem analysis and resolution; public contact and relations; oral and written communication; maintaining employee motivation and morale; fostering a team environment that emphasizes customer support while maintaining strict adherence to policies and procedures.
Direct, evaluate, train and supervise the work of assigned personnel; communicate effectively in written and oral form; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct several activities; analyze and evaluate information. De-conflict competing interests and prioritize the delivery of services that best meet university needs. Learn, develop and train staff on enterprise application procedures and tasks of new systems deployed by the university. Understand segregation of duty concerns with respect to enterprise application security.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Three (3) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
