Purpose of Classification:
Responsible for creating database reports based on the needs of end users. Incorporates end user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution. Requires knowledge of SQL programming. May assist in training users on reporting tools.
Standard Duties:
Develops, documents, and supports standardized and/or customized reports from a database. Collaborates with end-users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing/validation.: Assesses the needs of clients and/or management in order to develop customized reports from a database. Generates reports in a database or other report writer programs and exports them into Crystal Reports, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and/or other applications. Ensures all information is appropriately encrypted. Distributes generated reports in a timely manner to clients, management, and other required entities as needed. Trains end-users in reporting database(s) and ad-hoc report creation. Provides end-user support on standardized and/or customized reports and ad-hoc report creation. Documents and maintains records of created reports and/or changes to existing reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- No previous work experience required.
   Equivalency- Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.
