Purpose of Classification:
Under general supervision, codes less complex E-commerce websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages. Responsible for maintaining a functioning user-accessible website. May be involved in website planning and deployment. Writes technical documentation regarding the website's technical requirements.
Standard Duties:
Design overall web sites including embedded applications for university client, applying knowledge of university guidelines and expertise in usability. Assist in various projects with technical assistance and solutions to web related issues. Assist in providing university content online, including policy manual, undergrad catalog, executive searches and other content as needed. Perform related duties as required. Respond to client requests including trouble shooting problems, making recommendations regarding web related solutions, allocating web sites and access. Provide tech support.

Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- No previous work experience required.
   Equivalency- Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.
