| Purpose of Classification: | |
| Manages all computer operations including budget, personnel, projects, development, helpdesk, procurement of hardware and software to support the IT needs of a medium size unit or department. | |
| Standard Duties: | |
| Makes significant decisions that impact a wide range of multi-platform integrated systems regarding day-to-day activities of a unit or department. Responsible for managing IT budget, perform budget analysis, and strategic planning, administrative tasks. Manages the hardware/networking for the department. Performs maintenance programming on the mainframe; acts as a backup server administration, database administration, and mainframe backup. Administers policies and procedures as they relate to the function. Manages IT Resources. | |

| Minimum Qualifications: | |
| Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
| Experience- Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined. | |
