Purpose of Classification:
Provides strategic leadership and direction to the University in all facets of the establishment of institutional initiatives related to student enrollment management. Directs the management of the various component activities of the Enrollment Management function, ensuring that all programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution.
Standard Duties:
Establishes and implements a strategic, comprehensive enrollment plan for the University and its various related components, to include Admissions, Office of the Registrar, and Student Financial Aid. Directs and oversees the development of recruiting strategies and enrollment programs to enhance student-institution fit and successful student transition to the University. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of enrollment management theory and practice. Knowledge of marketing and outreach principles, strategies, and techniques. Knowledge in Federal Financial Aid regulations and processing, FERPA, budgeting and leveraging of scholarship awards.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and work effectively with administrators, academic leadership, faculty, students, community leadership, public officials, funding agencies, and members of the community at large. Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills. Strategic planning and performance measurement skills. Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Ten (10) years of professional related experience.
