Purpose of Classification:
This position will manage dual credit course offerings at multiple locations throughout the county to ensure compliance with high school, university and state program guidelines; serve as a liaison between secondary schools and university leadership to facilitate communication; and will manage services for concurrently enrolled/dual enrolled high school and homeschooled students in DACC's service area.
Standard Duties:
Responsible for the direction of the dual credit program. Makes decisions regarding dual credit course offerings at multiple locations as well as local high schools and throughout the county to ensure compliance with high school, university and state program guidelines. Directs the operation of recruitment, admissions, testing, advising, registration, drops and withdrawals of new and continuing Dual Credit and Early College program students of a large community college. Plans and develops strategies for admission, recruitment, assessment testing and registration of dual credit students. Maintains accurate and current records. Serves as liaison between secondary schools, college and university leadership to facilitate communication, directly works with public school administration in development of needed and/or requested programs. Serves as liaison between faculty and academic administration in the development and scheduling of dual credit course offerings and career pathways and in resolution of issues as they arise. Monitors student progress and follows up as necessary. Directs and coordinates orientations for new dual credit students, parents and faculty. Gathers data, compiles information and prepares reports. Directly oversees the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of professional academic advising staff and classified staff. Makes recommendations on personnel actions. Performs related duties as assigned.

University and Community College policies and procedures; principles and practices of organization and administration; Community College environment; principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluations.
Short- and long-range planning; problem analysis and resolution; report preparation and presentation; public contact and relations; research methods; training; budget preparation and fiscal management.
Direct, evaluate, train, and supervise the work of assigned personnel; communicate effectively in written and oral form; develop and maintain effective working relationships; maintain accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct several activities; analyze and evaluate information; operate a computer.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
