Purpose of Classification:
Directs all activities of the institution's Learning Resources Center for students.
Standard Duties:
Supervises the operations and personnel in the Learning Resource Center. Manage the LRC operational budget, sales account and related technology accounts; Ensure the LRC is appropriately staffed, open on time, customers are appropriately served; Organize, shelve and provide public access to state adoption materials housed in the LRC. Supervise the operation and maintenance of all computers and networks within the College of Education. Serve on the Technology, Budgeting and Facilities Committee, coordinate technology requests from departments; Plan, order and manage classroom technology needs; Advise depts tech needs for faculty, staff & clinics; Coordinate and Direct technician's. Planning, budgeting and liaison to ICT, OFS, Contractors etc. coordinate the preparation of annual equipment requests; Establish processes for acquiring & maintaining technology; Represent the college in terms of technology needs with ICT, OFS, and outside vendors; Serve on university-wide committees. Supervise the development and management of the college web site. Supervise GA - send work to the GA to put on the website; Server administration - add users, change permissions, etc. work with ICT ; Work with depts. To get updated info for the web page. Oversee college facilities and equipment. Monitor and resolve classroom needs, recycling, grounds, building and equipment security; Make recommendations relating to space and equipment utilization; Represent the college on the NMSU Facilities Committee; Manager; provide inventory oversight. Assist with administrative data requests and reports. Provide data to administrators using cognos reports, SurveyMonkey and other tools; Assist in TK20 implementation, NCATE accreditation and Strategic Planning; Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
