Purpose of Classification: | |
Provides strategic leadership for all functions of a medium community college library in collaboration with other academic units and in support of the mission of the college. | |
Standard Duties: | |
Supervise, direct, delegate and evaluate work of assigned staff. Plan, budget, evaluate Library and Media Services resources and services. Oversee selection, acquisition, and management of print, media and electronic collections. Provide direction for information literacy program, local and statewide initiatives. Manage of integrated library systems; integrate technology into library operations and services. Develop and strengthen interlibrary cooperation with main campus libraries, other libraries in counties and academic institutions across New Mexico. Participate in grant-related activities; seek additional sources of funding. Market and promote library/media resources and services internally and externally. Participate on committees, related to professional activities. Perform related duties as required. | |

Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- Master's degree in a related field. | |
Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined. | |
