Purpose of Classification: | |
Creates, manages and administers university-wide faculty development programming and oversees other services provided by the Teaching Academy | |
Standard Duties: | |
Essential Responsibilities Creates, organizes and administers events and programs. Provides individual support, resources, and feedback to faculty as requested.. Supports director in administrative duties. Manages fiscal and personnel issues. | |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | |
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. | |
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to plan and implement promotional programs. | |
Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field. | |
Experience- Five (5) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined. | |
