Purpose of Classification:
This position is responsible for directing and managing NMSU's marketing and brand development activities.
Standard Duties:
Develops marketing activities which directly impact student recruitment, fund-raising, internal communications, constituency relations and creative development for the University's widespread marketing communication activities; develops and executes long-term marketing strategies; integrates strategies with the University's strategic plan; directs office operations, develops and administers office and program budgets; and hires, assigns, reviews, trains, evaluates, performs corrective actions and supervises assigned personnel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, regulations, and standards applicable to the job. Understanding of the University's mission, vision and goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
   Experience- Eight (8) years of increasingly progressive management experience in one or more areas that report to this position.
