Purpose of Classification:
Provides a variety of video production and support services for the Marketing and Communications teams.
Standard Duties:
Responsible for videography in-studio and in remote field productions, including documenting special events, practices and games; editing and scoring video, exporting and posting videos optimized for social media channels as well as asset management. Serves as liaison with video subjects and interviewees including students, faculty, staff, elected officials and general members of the public on all aspects of videotaping and production by coordinating schedules, video and film equipment, operating and managing editing equipment, and training and supervising student workers as video assistants. Transports, sets up, and operates a variety of video production equipment; assists with staging, set preparation and dressing; and assists in studio and equipment maintenance. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of television broadcasting rules and regulations. Knowledge of field production techniques and standards.
Skill in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Minimum Qualifications:
   Education- High School diploma or GED certificate.
   Experience- Four (4) years of experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
   Equivalency- Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience.
