NMSU distinguishes animals by classification as either Assistive, Service, or Companion Animals and restricts certain access based on classifications, in accordance with applicable law and NMSU Policy. Animal Owners and Handlers are required by NMSU to be fully responsible for the animal’s control, care, and maintenance.
